Thanks so much for checking out Serene Baking Co.! Whether you're here because you're interested in custom cookies, cookie decorating classes, or my holiday pre-orders, I'm so excited that you're here and I look forward to baking something sweet for you!
Serene Baking Co. was officially created in 2023, but I have always had a love of baking and cooking. After trying my hand at decorated royal icing sugar cookies back in 2016 and being disappointed they looked nothing like the beautiful creations I had seen online, I gave up! Fast forward to 2022 and I tried again, this time taking a local class and practicing both day and night. I made my friends and family be my official taste testers and made many different batches of dough and icing until I discovered the perfect combination of soft cookie and royal icing. In 2023, I decided to make all of my cookie dreams a reality and took the leap into full time baking! I couldn't be happier and I've loved getting to meet all of you and make your events a little extra sweet!

About Me
I currently live in Newtown, CT with my husband and three beautiful children. For the past ten years, I worked as an elementary school teacher. I absolutely LOVED my students and families, but having three little ones of my own encouraged me to make the difficult decision to take a step back from teaching. I'm so grateful that I get to pursue my cookie dreams while getting to take care of my three babies!
