Serene Baking Co. was born in 2023, but my love for baking started long before that. After struggling with decorated cookies in 2016, I gave up—only to try again in 2022 with determination, practice, and plenty of taste-testing! Now, I specialize in beautifully decorated royal icing cookies that taste just as amazing as they look. As a former elementary school teacher, teaching has always been my passion, and now I get to blend that experience with my love for baking by offering beginner-friendly cookie decorating classes. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fun, creative experience, I’d love to decorate with you! Based in Newtown, CT, I’m a mom of three and a proud woman-owned business, bringing a little extra sweetness to your events, one cookie at a time.

When I’m not up to my elbows in royal icing and sugar cookie dough, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, our three amazing kids, or out walking our dogs. My husband and I tied the knot in 2017 and welcomed our first baby soon after. We’ve called Newtown, CT, home for the past seven years and love everything about this community! Fun fact: All three of our kids share the same August birthday week—just in different years!
